The Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai (RGSGD) was delighted to host Natalie Perez, an internationally celebrated mezzo-soprano from France, for a masterclass focused on the art of singing. Natalie Perez, distinguished for her dynamic interpretations and profound musicality, performed for RGSGD’s choir across year 3&4, 4&5 and Senior Choir, displaying her vocal expertise. Following her compelling performance, Perez led an intensive masterclass for the school’s aspiring singers, providing them with tailored coaching. This session was an opportunity for Perez to share her rich knowledge and experiences, thus creating an invaluable learning experience for the students.
Hailing from France, Natalie Perez made her notable debut at Wigmore Hall in September 2019 and has a significant discography that includes works such as “CozzolaniVespro” and roles in Monteverdi’s “Orfeo.” Her performances have graced major international stages, and her collaborations with prestigious artists and orchestras highlight her influential presence in the classical music scene. Perez’s visit to RGSGD not only brought international music culture to the students but also inspired them to pursue their musical passions more fervently.
