Star International School (Mirdif)

School follows the National Curriculum for England and Wales; this is delivered by British qualified staff to students from Foundation Stage to Primary Year 6. The curriculum is taught through a very interesting and innovative themed approach, this excites and inspires our children to become; curious about the world around them, think critically about problems and issues which arrive; problem solve and also become independent learners. A benefit of living in the Middle East is that the children also learn about the United Arab Emirates through Social Studies, within this subject children begin to understand more about the heritage and culture of the UAE. Our children also learn how to speak, read and write the Arabic language. Star school embraces the multi-cultural intake of our children. At present we have children from over 60 nationalities, all learning from each other and showing respect for their different cultures and beliefs.
