The Emirates College for Financial Sciences (ECFS) is the new name for the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS) in Dubai, as of Mar 2014. Also referred to as the Emirates College of Finance (ECF). But not the College of Financial and Management Sciences (CFMS) (is in Islamabad Pakistan, not UAE), or the (University, Center) College of Banking and Financial Studies (in Mumbai India, Doha Qatar, Muscat Oman, and other locations). On 11 Mar 2014, the new building was officially opened in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) by HH Sheikh Mohammed, the Ruler of Dubai, and UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister.
Contact details are for EIBFS Dubai campus according to EIBFS information, contact details for ECFS not provided, unless the same as for EIBFS Dubai.
New campus project cost AED 150 million, facilities include classrooms, laboratories, a theater or auditorium. Campus land area total 37,000 sq meters.
EIBFS is also located in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. EIBFS branches in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah are listed as accredited by the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), part of the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHESR), but the Dubai EIBFS branch and the new ECFS are not in the CAA list of accredited institutes in the UAE. Possibly because ECFS Dubai is located in an academic free zone.
