Dubai Medical College (DMC) announces that they’ve joined the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) which is a non-profit USA based organisation established in 2000 by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). ECFMG promotes excellence in medical and health education, FAIMER aims to improve world health through education.
Dr. Fouzia Shersad, the Director of the Institutional Effectiveness Unit at DMC, was chosen for a two-year fellowship program offered by FAIMER and receives a grant from the GSMC-FAIMER Regional Institute in Mumbai, India.
