Dubai Heights Academy (DHA), a leading British curriculum school located in the heart of Al Barsha South, has introduced a new schedule for its school tours, which are being organised in addition to its existing 360° virtual tours, which were launched after the lockdown, earlier this year.
Parents can now tour the school in person, everyday at 4pm – Sunday to Wednesday, 2.15 pm on Thursday and 10am on Saturday, giving them the opportunity to explore the school and its state-of-the-art facilities, which include specialist labs for science, IT, kitchens, art and music; a full-size football pitch; 372-seat cinematic auditorium, a Snoezelen room, a black box drama room and a pet garden.
Virtual tours of the campus are still available and can be accessed via DHA’s website, https://www.dubaiheightsacademy.com/take-virtual-tourand through further browsing, parents can review DHA’s digital learning option for students that wish to learn from distance. Parents can also familiarise themselves with the English National Curriculum taught at DHA, as well as the structure of the school and its vision and of course its philosophy. We advise all parents to look at the virtual tour before they come so they can have their questions ready.
Alison Lamb, Principal, Dubai Heights Academy, said: “Physically or virtually walking through our school, potential families can experience a real sense of community and inclusion which is at the core of DHA’s ethos.
“To further reassure parents and children, DHA complies with the latest KHDA COVID-19 health and safety procedures. We are practicing social distancing, measuring temperatures and we have designated class bubbles, isolation rooms and staff testing facilities. We have also increased our cleaning and security staff and it is mandatory to wear masks (for students 6 years old and above),” she added.
FS1 pupils registering at DHA for the academic 2020-2021 academic year will receive an exclusive 15% discount, plus 10% off FS2 for the 2021-2022 academic year. Meanwhile, new pupils registering for FS2 – Year 6 will receive a special 10% discount on their annual fees, and those registering for Year 7 will receive a 5% discount, all for the academic year 2020-2021.
DHA has fully reopened and provides distance learning provision to parents who request it. With a large campus and ample additional space, the school operates a regular school day without asking students to attend at staggered timings or alternate days.
