Dwight School Dubai is delighted to announce the appointment of Peter Atkins as the Associate Diploma Coordinator at Dwight School Dubai.
Peter brings to his role more than 16 years of experience teaching the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program and has held senior leadership positions in schools in the U.K., Italy and the UAE, with his subject specialisms being Business Management and Economics.
Through his work as an IB Workshop Leader he has facilitated training for over 150+ IB Coordinators and Senior Leaders, as well as being a Senior Examiner for IB Business Management and the IB Extended Essay. Peter has successfully led IB World Schools through all stages of authorisation, implementation, development and evaluation of the IB Diploma Program.

Peter Atkins is PENTA and CIS trained for school inspections and accreditations, having a comprehensive understanding of inspection frameworks. He has hands-on experience of helping to ensure schools are inspection ready and has helped lead his present school through three UAE inspections, with the most recent resulting in a top score across all categories for distance learning provision.
